These lovely red boho-looking bracelets are made from the waistband of red denim jeans which I scour thrift stores to find. This is a black-washed red denim, the ONLY denim of this color I've been able to find. Red metallic thread graces the outside border and a heart design has been painstakingly embroidered through the middle of the cuff and red sequins and seed beads are attached with invisible thread (which is a pain!) but produces a far better-looking item. The contrast of the brilliant red thread with the black-wash on the denim is super cool - the red really pops! They easily open and close with two silver snaps sewn on with sturdy reinforced stitching. From cutting up the denim, to embroidery, to hand sewing, to photograph and listing, these take about 1.5 hours (each) to make. It is truly a labor of love! These are NOT adjustable - need a different size? Check my other items as I try to vary the sizes and designs, so each bracelet is slightly different (SOMETIMES, like here, you get a pair of two).
